Abel Masonry, LLC was founded in 2004, runs a minimum of six masonry crews and can scale up for larger jobs.  The company provides rock, brick and stone veneers, block building construction and foundations for residential and commercial builders throughout Hickory and the Catawba Valley.

Founder Phil Bracewell's, philosophy is “we will do anything that has to do with masonry… we are flexible and enjoy a challenge” and “we will work turnkey or the builder and homeowner can supply the materials”.  Abel also provides specialty brick, stone and block, such as hand made brick, Crab Orchard Flag stones and Rock face block. 

Safety is one of the key issues in the building industry today. At Abel Masonry, we take safety.... very seriously and believe in being an safety leader.  Abel makes sure that employees are trained and that job sites are secure.  We are actively involved with the North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association.  With the help of NCMCA, we are developing company safety education and certification programs.
